- "May" means both effects are optional. You may do one without doing the other. For example, you may play an additional card without putting a card in the discard pile into your hand.
- You may play the mood you put into your hand from the discard pile as the additional mood, but you also could play a different mood from your hand.
- If you choose to put a card in the discard pile into your hand and play an additional card, you have to put the card from the discard pile into your hand first. Items on a card have to be done in the order they are written.
- Moods played from the discard pile are played similarly to how they are played from the hand.
- You may play any mood in the discard pile, even ones that originally were played by other players.
- Playing a card from the discard pile that lets you play an additional card only lets you play the additional card from your hand (unless another card like Melancholy lets you play them from the discard pile).
- You can play that additional card for the rest of your turn. If multiple cards grant you additional cards, those can be played in any order. For example, let's say you have Hurt Feelings and play Nostalgia. You may first play the additional card for Hurt Feelings before you play the additional card for Nostalgia.
