Stubbornness !
3While in play — At the start of each of your turns, if another player has more moods than you, you may play an additional mood this turn. (Moods are cards in play.)
6 notes
- Stubbornness checks to see if your opponent has more cards than you at the start of your turn. Note that this is not the start of the round, unless you go first, so if you go second and your opponent played a card and thus has more cards than you, you get to play an additional card with Stubbornness.
- Playing the additional card is optional.
- In a team game (see Other Ways to Play), if your teammate has more cards than you, you get to play an additional card.
- As long as another player had more cards than you at the start of your turn, you get to play an additional card, even if you have more cards than any other player when it comes time to play the extra card.
- You can play that additional card for the rest of your turn. If multiple cards grant you additional cards, those can be played in any order. For example, let's say you have Stubbornness and play Eagerness (which allows you to play an additional card of a color you have in play). You may first play the additional card for Stubbornness before you play the additional card for Eagerness, which would allow you to play an additional card in the color of the card you played for Stubbornness.
- Stubbornness grants you the ability to play the extra card at the beginning of the turn, so if it leaves play later in the turn, you still get to play your extra card.
